Model of a 7-year-old boy's heart with a complex problem in his double outlet right ventricle (DORV) in which both the aorta and the pulmonary artery led out of the right chamber of the heart.
The 3D printed model based on the CT scan of the patient and include the atriums, the ventricles, the valves, the arteries, and the Mio muscle.

The moment the surgeons were able to hold a 3D model and simulate the surgery on the printed model they understood precisely how to conduct the procedure for the complicated operation.
The model is printed on special materials enabling surgeons to practice the procedure before operating on the patient.
